If I hadn’t already purchased a warranty, I’d go with anyone else – Fixd Repair Review

I recently bought a condo. Before I moved in, Fixd came and supposedly fixed my A/C which wasn’t working. I purchased the warranty with Fixd at that time. Because it was February I didn’t have to use the A/C until a few weeks ago in May. When I tried to use it I realized it was running but not cooling. I made an appointment with Fixd to repair the A/C. On Friday the guy shows up and is there for two hours. Before he leaves he says that there’s a leaking coil and the condenser is broken and he’ll make an appointment for me through their app the next week on Wednesday or Thursday to have it fixed. I thought he was there to fix it but apparently not. So I wait and on Tuesday I still had not been notified that an appointment had been made. So I make one myself and send a message through the app to my technician that this is a second appointment and they should have record of how to fix the problem. I signed up for a 1-3 window on Friday. On Friday morning they call me at 8am and say they’re going to need 4 hours so can they arrive earlier. When I ask how much earlier they say 9 or 9:30. Inconvenient but ok. So three guys show up at 9:30, and spend SEVEN HOURS working on my A/C. When they leave it’s blowing cold air but they say they have to come back the next day to install a small part on the outside unit. I don’t know if they did that or not; they never contacted me. But it stops working the next day. Now it’s June in Dallas and I have no A/C. I’ve made a third appointment but im very upset.
