Fun and inexpensive – Hanto HD: Table-top Strategy Forever! Review

I am glad I downloaded this, it is definitely something new. The game is a bit confusing at first, but once you understand that there is no "eating" but "surrounding" and "pinning", it is a real challenge (and the how things move, and that pieces have to "stick" together...). It has lots of different sets (or versions of the game), going from the easier to the more complex ones. The AI is tough even in simple levels, though, and the undo feature sounds like cheating but it is sometimes very handy... I haven't played hot-seat yet, I wished it had GameCenter challenges so I can play online. I like the setting but I am not a big fan of the pieces though (the japanese icons look nice, but I hate the colors). However, the music is superb! I removed the ads for 0.99, if you consider the complexity of this game for that price, it is a real bargain.
