Great potential, but unlikely to be updated. – MY NEIGHBOR, LUCIFER Review

This game, despite what the other reviews led me to expect, downloaded pretty quickly and hasn’t crashed on me even once. This is a very good foundation but a lot of aspects would have to be improved for me to recommend it as anything more than a time killer. The english translation is... less than ideal, I often couldn’t understand much of what was said and the info page is still in Japanese. The font is also incredibly hard to read in some cases. The immediate inventory is extremely limited considering each piece of equipment is counted and common monster drops take up a slot individually even if they’re identical. The user interface is clunky and takes up too much space. The price for crystals is outrageous: 3 dollars worth can get you an item that’s almost exactly the same as one you can get in the store for a pretty small amount of gold. There are plenty of other things, but these are the ones that negatively impacted my experience the most. If these problems were fixed, a few new features were added, and everything was polished up a bit, I’d easily be playing this game every day. Sadly, since the last time this game was updated was a year ago at the time I’m writing this review and there hasn’t been any mention of the game from the developers for the same amount of time, it’s extremely unlikely that there will be any changes. But if the things I’ve mentioned aren’t dealbreakers for you, you might find this game quite enjoyable for long-term play. TL;DR Lots of potential but unlikely to be updated further. Best suited as an occasional time killer.
