10.0.8 still resets to defaults – Dolphin Browser Review

4/16 Update: Finally gave up. No reply from dev about issues. Today Dolphin started overlaying what looked like a text box on the display and graying our the entire background (like an ad). It would not open a keyboard to enter info or go away or provide a dismiss button. I had no pages open except the home speed dial. I tried closing and reopening Dolphin, deleting and reinstalling Dolphin, clearing phone memory, and full reboot of my phone. Nothing worked so I figure this might be another “enhancement”. Since Dev won’t respond to issues and app is now totally non functional, I’m forced to move on. Will give Brave Browser a try. Original Feedback I’ve been sending feedback emails for about a month without response so I figure to try feedback here. I am on Dolphins 10.0.8. The defaults issue exist in this version. I have an iPhone 7 that was running iOS 12.1.3 and is now updated to iOS 12.2. The defaults Issue exists in both iOS versions on my phone. Description * Defaults get applied after a day or two but custom speed dials and bookmarks are not deleted. * If user deletes default speed dials and bookmarks, they are added back without user action every day or so. Annoying but not enough to drive me bats. * If user changes search engine away from default, the app changes it back to default every day or so. This issue does makes me bats. I prefer Google but app resets to Yahoo which I believe provides substandard results. I mean they were going bankrupt for a reason. Oddly Specific Issue After update from iOS 12.1.3 to iOS 12.2, Google news on Dolphin won’t allow me to tap and select news links. Instead I have to tap and hold the link until the option menu pops up at which time I can select to open the link in a new tab. I’m on USA version of Google news if that matters. This was not happening in iOS 12.1.3. It does not happen if you select other links on the page (only the main news link) and it doesn’t happen on other sites. Also, the links work fine if I open Google News in Safari.
