Ringer has to be on to hear pronounce – Dictionary.com Pro English Review

It worked well for years. The last update only allows you to hear the pronunciation if your ringer is on, not the volume, the ringer! The only reason I paid for the upgrade years ago was to hear the pronunciation. On the quest for a new app.
