Saving flaws but nice layout – VanillaPen: Design Studio Review

I’ve had success in the past with this app. However recently, every time I finish creating and move onto “add a layer” the app blacks out and doesn’t save. It’s been very frustrating. The designs are beautiful, but the app is unreliable.
