Pinnacle of frustration – Mikey Boots Review

Mikey Boots is a terrible platform for a full game experience. Imagine the swimming levels in Mario brothers but the character is constantly moving at full speed without a place to stop or stand and all of the walls are decked with spikes and bullets are constantly flying across the screen. The "bonus" levels are actually harder than the regular levels - instead of being relaxing, "fun" bonus levels, they are just extra difficult versions of the regular, difficult game. You don't even get extra hearts to help you with the harder levels and there are no health pickups in any of the levels. You just have to memorize the difficult boards and hope you press the screen at the exact, correct time each time. Mikey Hooks was actually fun - this game is just frustratingly awful. Don't waste your life.
