The previous version was better – Indie 1031 Review

I'm shaking my head trying to figure out why they removed the previous version of the Indie 1031 app. It had a few more features, like the current song and title. Also, the interface was cleaner. The interface in this version is spastic; elements are misaligned, the Indie logo is cut-off at the top and the volume bar and play button is just plain ugly. But, it works, so three stars, but only because it's Indie 1031. Indie is a excellent station, even though they've lost Henry Rollins (who is on KCRW now) and Steve Jones. The station still has a decent amount of talent though, like Joe Escalante, Chuck P, Full Metal Jackie, etc.... The music playlist is outstanding. I'm really hoping that the online venture for the station works out, and that they can bring back some of the other DJs. I would have paid for the previous version of the Indie app to support the station. I wouldn't pay for this one though -- It needs work.
