Game help needed – Sally's Salon - Beauty Secrets Review

I need help in the game not a walk-through but I can’t find any help anywhere. I want to know how the four leaf clover‘s light up? Some are bright like on my boards 1,2, 3 yet 4, 5, 6 are dull. Even though I got 3 stars on all boards, got Carl the mouse, achieved the goal, and got more than the required points. How do I find out what I’m doing wrong so that the rest of the board will light up and not be dull?
