Scammer heaven – RealMen Review
It may well not be the intention of the creators, but this app seems to be little more than a haven for scammers. How do you know you’re being chatted up by a scammer? They virtually all employ some form of “hello handsome” or use “dear” within a message or two; their profile images are all carefully selected from those stolen from elsewhere; their stats are chosen randomly (best to date: photo has blond hair, stat claims it’s black); their English is uniformly atrocious, and not simply the lazy overuse of abbreviations people seem to think are “cool” nowadays; and they ALWAYS want you to switch to using Google Hangouts or some similar platform that probably makes it easier for them to hack or scam you.
Bottom line: expect to hear from random strangers impersonating real people, who want to scam you. Over and over and over and over again.
