Great way to write LaTeX, but poor Dropbox integration – Texifier : LaTeX editor Review

This app makes writing LaTeX on iPad a breeze. The killer feature is live update. As you write an equation (and other LaTeX) you can see it typeset in real time in the pdf file. This makes writing LaTeX much more intuitive and interactive. On an 9.7” iPad the display is a little too small to take full advantage of it, but on the 12.9” and 11” Pro this should be really great. BUT, as many reviewers has remarked, the Dropbox integration is poor (and I did not realize this before buying). You can only access one specific app folder. This is very much out of date. I have hundreds of projects that include LaTeX. I don’t want to have to move them all into the app folder — also because the contain many other documents (graphics, excel files etc.). The recent update made it possible to link folders in iCloud, but not Dropbox. If the app had full Dropbox integration, I would definitely give it 5 stars. UPDATE: I got a reply from the developer. It seems the Dropbox issue is out of their hands. Hopefully it will come with new versions of iOS. So, I updated to 5 stars.
