Service made me realize how much I hated doing laundry – Rinse | Laundry & Dry Cleaning Review

My boyfriend is a runner and I’m an equestrian, so between his sweat and our dirt, we make pretty enormous piles of dirty laundry. I decided to give Rinse a try and found the app easy to use, though if you have a drop off scheduled, it’s hard to schedule a pickup too. Their customer service has been absolutely the best I’ve ever experienced for any kind of service. I love the fact that you can just text them at their main number and a real human being with actual information gets back to you! Go figure!! All of the valets were professional and polite. The local launderers have misplaced a few items of clothing, and hiring a laundry service is undoubtedly expensive. We were primarily interested in the wash and fold service but used all of them: wash and fold, hang dry, dry cleaning, and repairs. We didn’t have room for a drying rack in our studio - prices for this service in particular were better than for Cleanly - and it seemed silly to pass up the opportunity to have the dry cleaning delivered too, but the dry cleaning prices were understandably higher than traditional drop off dry cleaning services. I love vacuuming, dusting, wiping, decluttering...and ever since I started using Rinse, it’s become clear that I really hate doing laundry. If you live in an apartment building with shared machines, you can’t just throw in a load when it’s ready and then take off to do errands. You have to babysit it, or at least be home to switch it to the dryer so you don’t hog the washers. Then you have to fold it all and put it away. It takes forever!! Not so with Rinse! I’m sorry that a change in circumstances has put this service out of our financial reach for the time being. I’ll miss those packages of perfectly-folded laundry.
