Five Rings Revealed – Samurai: Way of the Warrior HD Review

If ever there was a media form that embodies Miyamoto Musashi's life story and his principals of mortal combat, this simple computer game has achieved that and more. I have never thought a computer programmer would ever be able to understand, let alone graphically portray, the intricacies of bushido, life, and death, from the perspective of a samurai. This game is truly an accurate synergy of history, art, and science. I thank the developers for getting to the essence of the Five Rings and the ronin. A book may have thousands of words. A single picture may worth a thousand words. However, this simple interactive game truly captures The Soul of the Samurai and The Art of War. Having said that, it would be nice to be able to change the game play perspective to first person, or even just to have the ability to move perspective up close to the actor temporarily, because we lose sight of the actor during play sometimes due to set pieces obstructing our line of sight. Thank you.
