Swipe-saster AGAIN – Inbox by Gmail Review

Careful - just like with the regular gmail app the folks at Google seem unaware that one can hit the screen by mistake and persist in making actions happening at the mere hint of a swipe touch when on the main emails list page. Somebody asked me a question while I had the app open and by simply hitting the screen w my thumb a very important email disappeared into one of the app’s own retarded “sub” folders (only accessible on hand devices to make things a little bit more obnoxious and aggravating) and I could not find it. No pop up announcement to tells you where the email just got zapped into... name of folded in which emails are sent does not appear at any point during that action and the email does not come up when doing a search for the email by sender. In my case the email happened to be a contract!!! Not sure why G folks can’t bring themselves to incorporate the simple step of a pop up verification step when it comes to an action that can so easily happen by mistake (and that is also counterintuitive since most swipe action based interfaces only swipe left to WITH a verification step). But be warned if you choose to go with this app.
