Amazing Game! Surprisingly Balanced! – Jurassic World Alive Review

I’ve really enjoyed this game so far, and the mechanics are just so surprisingly... GOOD! Catching dinos is skill-based rather than RNG-based, incubators give you a generous but fair amount of items, both dinos and drop points are pretty easy to find even if you don’t live somewhere with a lot of major landmarks. The battle mechanics surprised me with how balanced they are as well - with good ways to separate beginning and advanced players, the ability to quickly separate those who simply pay for epic dinos, and almost everything has a decent counter. Everyone seems to be comparing it to Pokemon Go, and for the most part that seems unfair. The only distinct similarities between the two are that 1.) you find creatures on a real-world GPS map and 2.) there is some sort of AR feature (the function of which is different in both). This kind of comparisson is like saying that “it’s a lot like Dark Souls because it’s hard.” It just doesn’t hold up. Overall, a really fun mobile game that is pretty darn balanced, very much skill-based, and doesnt seem to punish players for not paying. Its not perfect, but i dont really have any gripes, and as shown by the new update it’s only getting better! Really enjoying the game so far :)
