Still lots of glitches – Sprouts Farmers Market Review

I have to “select my store location” about 3 different times while I’m using this app in one sitting. I’ll select it once to only notice a few clicks later that the location was not truly “saved”. Pretty frustrating and useless if you have to double check whether the location is correct every time you click elesewhere within the app. I’ve already had one shopping experience where I put stuff in my cart thinking it was a certain price because of what it said in the app, only to discover at checkout that those prices were for a store in another state. Now I’m paranoid every time I use the app about whether the location is correct, but at the this point I’m considering no longer using it if I have to waste time looking up my store and having to reselect it every other click. Other grocery stores have it programmed so that when you get to checkout, you punch in your phone number and the coupons/deals you had selected in the app get applied, rather than having to scan a barcode on your phone. I have had instances where I got to checkout and the Sprouts app barcode took awhile to load or the app was in error and all the coupons I had taken the time to view and select were now useless. I would probably only continue using this app if I were to find out that they made significant changes to the barcode (to work as efficiently as Target’s) or got rid of it altogether and configured their checkout machines to accept our corresponding account phone number. I’m in favor of the latter.
