Commands ok, can’t use variables. – OpenTerm Review

I got this app because I’m trying to learn all the nitty gritty of Bash. I was trying to make a variable to echo, and this is what it gave me: Test Phone: FRANK="test string" FRANK="test: command not found Test Phone: FOR='test string' FOR='test: command not found Test Phone: STRING="sring" STRING="sring": command not found Test Phone: $STRING="string" $STRING="string": command not found Test Phone: I know the last on isn’t right, I was grasping at straws. Disappointed.
