i have some problems – Soundtrack Attack - Steven Universe Rhythm Runner Review

tl;dr not really worth playing. but if you’re bored and kinda like rhythm games then go ahead. - there is no settings menu. at all. there is a button to turn off ALL AUDIO but other than that, nothing. - the music is weird techno-dubstep or something. steven universe’s music in what i can only describe as “soft”, its usually played on piano or ukulele and typically is calming. the “techno-dubstep” in the game is confusing, and i had no idea it was finished until it was dead quiet and my character was at the end platform. - there are 6 areas, each with 7 levels. steven universe songs are on levels 2 and 6 [theme song, steven and the stevens, giant woman, havent you noticed (im a star), let me drive my van (into your heart), mr greg, dont cost nothing, steven’s lament, strong in the real way, what can i do for you, stronger than you, theme song (extended)], and are either sped up or slowed down to match the tempo of the techno-dubstep that is played over it. you can almost hear the words over the game sound effects. - the game sound effects for when you tap to the rhythm are bad and i dont like them. they’re loud, one of them sounds like a auto-tuned plunger noise, and another one is just way louder than the others. you can’t turn down these effects, because there is no settings menu. - i got through the entire game without going to the shop. i forgot it was there because when you finished a song and tapped the next arrow, it immediately started the next level. - dialogue was weird. finished the level with the song “giant woman” and went to the next area and at about level 3, pearl and amethyst showed up saying that steven wanted to see them as a giant woman. steven even brought up the trip with sadie and lars and “be wherever you are” wasnt even in the game. - art reminds me of season 1. your character also has a few dialogue boxes, but the characters eyes just roam around in an unsettling way. - shop was useless. bought steven’s shirt and garnet’s goggles, but they just give you game center achievements. you can only wear one clothing/accessory at a time. - the last level??? wasnt?? a steven universe song??? why would you end a steven universe game on weird dubstep?? you also have the option to be a quartz, pearl, or ruby, but it wasnt obvious that you were being these gems, i just thought they were save slots. i only played as a quartz because i assume everything would be the same and i really dont want to play the game again. they also added a weird rock guitar solo in the middle of steven’s lament??? why?? the only songs that sounded ok with the techno-dubstep remix were what can i do for you and theme song (extended).
