Don't bother if you're blind – Messenger Review

If you're blind and rely on VoiceOver, don't bother. The field used to enter messages has been broken for a few versions now so it's impossible to enter text with VoiceOver running. Even basic accessibility testing of the app pre-release should have caught this, but Facebook has proven over and over again that they'd rather add features like automatic alt text, which is fairly useless, instead of ensuring existing stuff aworks as it should. I have escalated the issue to Facebook Accessibility, but have not received a response. After the issue with the Facebook app recently where posts with backgrounds were being identified as "awesome-text-background" without reading the posts, you'd think they'd try harder, but nope.
