Web app; not true pro dev app – Principal® Mobile Review

At login, it’s apparent this is a web app, not a pro app developed from the ground up. Why am I downloading this app, if I can just put the website on my Home screen? No Touch ID or Face ID credentialing. On to the new two-factor authentication. That’s nice to have for an app or website providing me access to sensitive, private data. However, pet peeve, when I click on the field to enter the code sent to login, I get a full keyboard to enter a numeric code. If you’re sending a numeric code, why not open to the numeric keypad, rather than the full alpha-numeric? That choice would be much more convenient for your customers. Finally, after I clear the two-factor authentication, I’m prompted to update my security questions (new security protocol - perfectly reasonable). However, upon clicking “OK”, I get an error message, and the app crashes out. Again, you’re paying developers to do the barest possible job to publish an “app”. Let your developers spread their wings and see how great an app service they can provide your customers. Until then, I’m deleting and posting your website to my home screen - it’s effectively the same thing.
