Controls ruin a potentially fun game – Galactic Invasion Review

First issue: this is a tech demo, not a game. Even for $2 I feel ripped off. Get Besiegement instead. Second issue: UI issues ruin what gameplay there is. Specifically, the weapon selection dialog is very difficult to use. The left and right arrows, as well as the OK and Cancel buttons all register presses slightly offset from their screen location. (I have large-ish fingers but this is the only app I've had this problem with.) Quick fix: pause the action while the dialog is open. Better fix: drop the arrows; show icons for all the weapons and just touch-to-select. Drop the cancel button and make the OK button bigger. (IMO action should still slow or pause while dialog is open, so you have time to actually read the upgrade info.)
