Complicated prigram – Google Sheets Review

It is VERY complicated to figure out. Every time I touch the screen to enter data into a cell, it automatically goes into a mode where I am suddenly stuck creating an unwanted formula in the cell. There seems to be no way to exit the mode except to close the program and start over. I’m sure I will eventually figure it out but it is really hard to learn to use.
