Cannot replay stored videos remotely – Lorex Secure Review

I’ve just concluded a 1+ hour technical service call with the manufacturer. I have an iPhone X and the newest iPad, running iOS 11.4, and while I am getting notifications and still-frame event thumbnails, any attempt to review the recorded videos remotely results in either “Corrupted Video”or “Failed to load video” and no replay. Loren technical support cannot correct the issue. We’ve downloaded a fresh copy of the app, restarted the Lorex DVR, and they’ve connected directly to the DVR remotely. No resolution. They are now claiming that they need to verify with iOS 11.4.
