No defense, poor customer service – Dragonstone: Kingdoms Review

The game has no limits on who can attack who in this game, so if you decide to play it be prepared to have players eight times larger than you wipe you out almost immediately. Ember does nothing to prevent this because these are usually the players that spend money in the game. All of the emphasis is put on attack, so even when getting attacked by someone nearly the same size as you, your entire town will be wiped out and take days to rebuild. You will rarely get a chance to do this with how easy it is for the large, money spending players to destroy you. Most of the discussion in these games goes well beyond competitive banter and instead is rude, vile and cruel. You can report these individuals but Ember does nothing about it. Their response is that you can block them, which basically renders the game silent. Overall I’m disappointed that Ember seems to keep a structure and service that supports only those that spend money on the game. Don’t bother playing unless you have a lot to spend.
