If you love trek, you’ll hate the people that made this game – Star Trek ® - Wrath of Gems Review

It might as well be any theme other than Star Trek. It's basically bejeweled, but designed to drain your bank account. Not worth it. To top it off, whoever designed this never watched Star Trek. A scout ship 5 levels below a Borg Cube has a stronger hull than the cube and can level up twice as high as a galaxy class. It’s like a US aircraft carrier being taken out by a guy on a jet ski with a pellet gun. And the other reviews are correct in that it can’t be played without a WiFi connection. These people prey on fans’ love of Star Trek and deliver utter nonsense. They don’t even give you the proper number of character slots to properly play. Everything costs money to play at a standard level, you NEED Facebook to save games or lose whatever you’ve payed/played, you pay thousands of tokens to barely level up ships and characters, your characters and items get archived if unused. It’s pay-up-or-lose. On top of that, the NPC ships frequently get sudden shield heals right as you blast them, making it even harder to win while you get nothing. These people are thieves, plain and simple. Update: They responded to the issues I submitted by saying they’re aware and will fix them. Meanwhile it’s been over a year, they keep adding content to spend your money on but haven’t fixed any of the games bugs. Good job doing nothing.
