Pay or no, it’s your choice, still fun either way – Puzzle & Dragons (English) Review

I like this game not just because it’s one of the best match-3 games around, but because of how the company behind it does business. Is PaD pay to win? Sure. But I’ve been playing for five years, and I haven’t once ever felt like I had to spend money to do well. Not only that, but I have never once been bombarded with any sort of advertisement to spend money. If it wasn’t for the fact there’s an occasional banner on the title loading screen talking about bundle specials, you probably wouldn’t even know there’s a pay element to it. It’s the only game of its kind I know of that doesn’t constantly beg you for money. They also keep making improvements to the gameplay and the monster system to make things friendlier for players. Along with ever increasing collaborations with movies and shows, the game always feels fresh and new. It’s not for everyone, but PaD is a fantastic game.
