First impressions – FlyCleaners Laundry On-Demand Review

I was using Cleanly for my laundry but they kept messing up also. I finally lost it with them when they completely lost everything. I researched similar companies and came across these guys. I figured, ok here’s my new company. I download the app, place the order but I had a question about my laundry bag so I called customer service. Nobody answered so I left my info and they called me back within a reasonable amount of time. I asked my question which produced the answer of “our driver will bring 2 new laundry bags with him for you to use. The customer service person was very nice. She assured me that the driver would wait a couple of minutes while I fill the bags. I told her I’d have everything ready to stuff. The driver shows up...nice guy, no bag. He did however have 1 used bag. Grabbed the bag and stuffed 50lbs into it. He took the bag, said have a nice day and off it went. The following day I got 2 text messages that the delivery was delayed. One was by 20 or so minutes the next was by an hour or more. Finally the bell rings. He comes up, hands me the bag and I say, that can’t be all of it. It was no more than 10lbs. The driver preceded to tell me that the rest of it must be with the guy whose delivering behind him and not to worry. He’ll be here shortly. I say ok and thanks. I come in and call immediately. Customer service picks up and asks what’s wrong. I explain that I wanted to confirm more laundry was coming. She asked and out me on hold. As I’m waiting my wife opens the bag we received to discover it’s not our stuff. When the woman comes back to the phone I let her know that the bag I DID receive isn’t ours. She explains that she knows and there was a mix up. Hmmm. Ok I say. How quickly can I get my stuff? I was going to a BBQ with my family and needed clothing for the baby that was in that bag. She begins to explain her company policy and normally it’s 48hrs but it can take up to 10 days. Since then, they’ve confirmed they have it, I have verified it’s ours through a picture they sent and that is all. No addition info. Soooooo.....this has been my first experience with FlyCleaners.
