Packs a punch! – 19 Minute Yoga Review

I love how efficient this is. So often I have found myself skipping going to yoga on crazy-busy days because a 60 or 75 minute class, plus the drive to and from the studio, isn’t in the cards for me. But this app makes it easy to carve out some time for myself and unroll my mat. I love that the emphasis of this app is a vocal track of directions and I can focus on my own alignment and positioning more than anything else. And it amazes me how such a small time on my mat on the busy days and the focus on JUST ME—how my body feels in each position—just helps press a ‘reset button’ on the bad days or relieve the feeling of laziness on the days that would otherwise be rest days. I am grateful for the yoga sequences in this app and for how easy it is to tell myself that if I have half an hour to spend fluffing around on Facebook when I need a break, I have 19 minutes to spend on my mat (+10 minutes on social media... to do something good for myself before getting back to work.
