VPN should be option or customizable – Covenant Eyes: Quit Porn Now Review

I understand the VPN approach in theory but in practice it is not good to be forced to take it. As an amateur auto mechanic I watch YouTube videos and need to read the comments on the YouTube videos for any corrections or clarifications offered by others. With this app, I am not able to read such comments. So I have the VPN on my ipad (unfortunately) and can’t turn off the VPN to read the comments. I tried hard to avoid updating covenant eyes on my phone so that I could preserve reading those comments. But the update somehow got through and now I am stuck without a browser on my phone so I can continue reading the comments. It would be best to allow users to customize the VPN experience (like they do with the browser) or make it optional. I will be looking for a new service when this one expires - not worth destroying the car or wasting money taking it to the dealer
