Real let down. – Secret Diary With Passcode Review

IMO journal apps should be free and I'll tell you why. Devs needs to create to get jobs app developing. A solid app for both platforms that is purely written as an investment in yourself and skills, kind of like paying for school and training, having that is like a martial artist having an extra black belt in an effective art like BJJ for example. How that's all relevant, well back to my title, real let down. It's free but has those fake/bought reviews that they buy on Craigslist which a lot of EBay abs Amazon sellers use but I kept an open mind. So it doesn't recognize the time well like a super basic calendar or appt app would and doesn't keep the time of your entry or have spell check and the annoying ads that you can't remove and popup ads that countdown if you don't setup a password because they want to gather your passwords just in case. You have to click today and that's as accurate as it gets with time. A date. I went to add a new entry I clicked today and then I clicked add and not sure what happen but it was two weeks out. Again if you click add new and nothing else the default should be the date and time for creation. You have to manually type that in note. They went with enabling a mood choice but not times. And no spell check, the standard phone suggestions will work but it's not a spell check pick your ugliest spelling no red underline, that's nice for major F ups, nothing but you do have the option of proof reading your entry many times. The only time even the most basic typing app like this shouldn't be using spell check is because you disabled it, the default and only option in a journal or notes or tasks should never be no spell checker come one guys I wouldn't pass a high school junior with this app. Very old style and clunky saving, imagine how google an iCloud apps work, yeah not. Really big slow clunky save button and separate save between the title and the actually entry. The fact that it doesn't recognize the current time, or add a CTime and add MTimes or even let you manually add them for grid view, is unbelievable. Nope you just write it in the entry but after save it twice and close it's only easy to find if you don't have entries and as lame as this app is I wouldn't expect anyone to have many entries nor keep the app beyond a couple days. I just hate that now I have to delete from iCloud so it doesn't download and install on my other devices and live in my profile and iTunes backup data. I feel the 2 Star is generous because really as bad as it is and utterly useless then add the popup and bottom panel "major sponsor" ads and it gets to the point that I wouldn't keep and use this app even if they paid me, 100% true. Judging by the app that amount would be extremely low. I would give it 1.5 star but I'm being nice rounding up.
