Ugly game – Try Harder Review

Try Harder is a competent game. It works. It doesn’t freeze up or crash, at least it didn’t for me. But the substance of the game is just so stale and boring. Like someone wrote, it just gets too hard and you know that trying multiple times again is a waste of time. For me the game is also aesthetically ugly and annoying. I absolutely cannot stand the computer sounding girl’s voice that says try harder when you restart the game. The colors are faded and bleak. Finally the chip tune that plays in the background, while it may seem catchy at first, is just too loud and grating on hearing. Come on guys. You can make better games. This one is like half way done.
