Screaming into the abyss – Pinterest Review

Hundreds of negative reviews. If any of us thinks Pinterest is actually reading them, we should have our head examined. Pinterest continues to do what it wants to do. The head of Pinterest has stated that he wants to make it a less social site and more sales oriented. Well, he has succeeded. I used to be excited to pin and share and talk. Now I pin and it’s like yelling over the canyon and hearing my own voice come back. It’s a lonely and unfulfilling process. I just use it now for recipes and as a archive of things that are pretty. It’s like a giant list of what I like, but no one to show it to. I wonder why I feel the need to do it? It’s a compulsion with no reward. Well, at least I know they aren’t getting any money out of me.
