Content doesn’t feel “carefully chosen” – Highbrow Unlimited Review

I was so excited to have an alternative to YouTube Kids, which we removed from our iPad due to the inappropriate videos and content. My excitement quickly turned to frustration, upon downloading Highbrow and signing up for the free trial. An entire Halloween section for ages one to three? Halloween videos with zero educational value is one of the reasons we removed YouTube Kids. I don't find anything educational about a song called "Wicked Wendy," or a video called "Halloween Vocabulary" for ages one to three, with words such as: "Haunted House," "Tombstone," "Skull," "Coffin." That, to me, doesn't feel like "carefully-chosen content." We’ll be removing this App, if we don’t notice some changes to Highbrow.
