Landscape Orientation Option Needed – Acrobits Groundwire Review

2018-03-17 ________ Sure wish that their software checked what hardware it was running on and stop nagging me that I need to update, when in fact there is NO WAY my iPhone 4s can be updated to iOS 10. Also, ZRTP is still apparently a pie-in-the-sky wasteful purchase since it seems our evil overloards demand to spy on us all the time. 2017-08-17 ________ Since I made an effort to read every option available, my first time setting up Groundwire, took about 30 minutes, which I consider long, but now that I’ve done it once (and worked through most problems), setting it up on my iPad only took a minute. I found I put a port number on a domain name where I didn’t need to specify one. Fortunately it didn’t seem to make a difference. Fortunately my SIP/VOIP provider had a webpage reference for Groundwire, complete with screen shots, albeit from a much older version. My provider supports SIP SIMPLE and text messages, but as I was setting up Groundwire I had to turn off SIP SIMPLE in the app to make it work with my provider. I too would like access to the default Apple phone app sounds. The price for ZRTP support in outgoing calls I’d say warrants some sort of compatibility chart on their website showing interoperability with their own software versions and with 3rd party software, or at least specifying some sort of versioning which can be compared to other vendors. The screen to hold big-button quick-dials is great! The documentation is sorely lacking. :-( I only see a vertical iPhone-sized layout on the iPad; not having a landscape view, even iPhone-sized is a bummer. I can not find a way to send text messages, my provider supports this however; and I have used it in a competitors app, so I know it can work. I look forward to using this app.
