Shockingly effective – Luna: Best VPN for iPhone/iPad Review
Regarding privacy:
1. Another comment notes that they keep the logs; a little secret: nearly every single vpn in the App Store does and almost every vpn can be compelled by a court to release all your information.
2. If you got in the App Store then chances are they (every company including Apple) are trading your information.
Thus,
3. Privacy is a moot point here. If you are wanting actual security and untraceable access to tor or the open net then you shouldn’t use a phone for browsing to begin with!
Regarding speed:
1. HOLY CRAP!!!!
2. I’m really hard to impress, but....HOLY CRAP!!!
3. I pay for Fios 100mb. Two weeks ago my speed dropped to consistently 7Mb for download and 10 to 15 upload. I called Verizon and they told me that I had too many devices on my WiFi - which makes no sense at all. I’m sorry but streaming a YouTube movie just doesn’t drain the same amount of data as the smart outlet that only reconnects when I turn on the app (Router even lists as inactive). So after some screaming at wonderboy over the phone that I was not dropping the issue. I finally got a repair scheduled. It improved stability a little but speed still isn’t great.
4. Now I know this is going to sound like a stretch but I took screenshots because I was that amazed. First use: improved to 40/45...cool! That’s what i needed...2nd test 100/100 - completely serious and I’ve never gotten that speed in this house. Tested multiple times and saved the specific server info. Still 100/100
Very impressive! I would probably do something else when your goal is privacy but if you are needing speed...wow!
