Two stars is generous. – MyCircle with Disney Review

I’m not here to complain about the purpose of the circle. I think it’s good to have this sort of accountability, to be honest. However, I do have a few complaints on the technical side, pretty much having to do with vpn. How I understand it is that, instead of doing what a vpn is supposed to (which is to reroute the phone’s information to somewhere private and hidden from everyone without monitoring it, for users that don’t know), it reroutes this information to a server where it is then read and sent to the parents phone if something’s up. I don’t really have a problem with this part. It makes sense. What I DO have a problem with is that, since whenever I’m not using my home WiFi my phone absolutely requires that a vpn be on. This would normally not be a problem (aside from waiting for the vpn to turn on, which can be glitchy and slow as a result), except my school has completely banned all vpns. This means that any phone with a vpn will not work on school WiFi. I could and have used my data, but, as I’m sure you’re aware, data is not free as school WiFi is. So here’s what I’m thinking: Is there a way to collect all the data you need using some offline method, and then send it to the servers when I’m able to access my home WiFi? Just think about it. I believe it’s worth the effort. Also - I can’t listen to my podcasts on the Apple Podcasts app unless I’m using home WiFi. We got problems, Circle.
