Not possible to switch devices and continue – Signal - Private Messenger Review

I appreciate the focus on privacy, but this application is not usable for most people. Signal intentionally prevents conversations from being backed up (even to iTunes). This means switching to a new device is like starting afresh for all conversations with no history. This is not the world I want to live in. Until this bug (yeah, it’s not a feature) is fixed, I won’t be using Signal.
