My childhood... ? – Minecraft Review

Minecraft is an amazing virtual world where you can do ANYTHING. Wasn’t always, though. Used to only be about building and surviving. Some people still think it is. But it’s definitely not. I first played Minecraft when I was six. SIX. With my friend, on their big brother’s Xbox 360. When I was eight, I got a Kindle Fire HD, and the first thing I got—you guessed it—was Minecraft: Pocket Edition. Nine, I got MCPE on my iPad mini 2. When I was ten, I got an Xbox 360 of my own. The first game I got was Minecraft. Countless memories have been made... I played PE with my little brother together back when it was in the early version, and it had a much different vibe to it than the Xbox did. I did a lot together with my friend on my Xbox. By the time I was eleven, I joined MCPEHub and went to tons of other servers, and even made my own server with LEET. My server got super popular, and I made a lot of acquaintances but also made enemies. There was a lot of drama. Good times. Minecraft was my life. The Better Together update brings me happiness because it’s really cool, but also brings me sadness knowing that all systems will be the same, and the memories I made on different ones will just fade away. The more Minecraft improves, the less it’s like it used to be. Which isn’t just a good thing. Nostalgia... I’d like to be able to revert back to an old version of Minecraft whenever I feel like. I know it’s possible, because I got an old iPhone 4 and tried to install Minecraft and it said that ‘the latest version of this app is not compatible with your device’ and proceeded to download an earlier version. I’d like to be able to do it on an iPad mini 2 though.
