Room For Improvement – Restaurant Dreams: Chef City Review

Would give it a five star except for the decor. It’s limited, and it needs to be bigger. We need decor that takes up more then one square. Big beautiful fountains, Sitting areas with couches. Fireplaces. The decor needs to be larger. It looks so..TINY! But, the game is a great time passer and is rather cute. Also, the servings vs customer visits is off. We need higher yields. The longer the time to cook, the more it should yield. 12 hour recipes should yield at least between 2000 and 4000 servings. Coins are hard to come by. I think each serving should be a minimum of 4 coins, then depending on the dish, it could go as high as 6. Maybe make a few “specialty dishes” that yield 8 or 10 coins a piece. Challenges should be limited to once a month and should produce a reward of some kind, like a decoration. We need fences, and bushes, and more lighting (lamps) couches, and vases, and dividers. When we buy floor time and decide to change it, it should go into storage and shouldn’t need to be re-purchased. In order to attract players to spend more time in the game, thus more possibilities to spend money, we need to rely on friends for more then just gifts. Maybe ovens should require parts to build? We could then gift parts to our neighbors. Maybe deco that needs to be built. I.e. a lemonade stand or a pastry cabinet...Even specialty ovens. We need book shelves and china cabinets. Pastry displays, menu boards, coat racks, posts and pillars, food display tables with food, bread shelves, maybe a chocolate fondue fountain? Get creative! Some restaurants proved outdoor seating. So provide out door decor. I.e. ponds, potted flours, tile that looks like water with decor to place on it like flamingos, lily and lotus pads, and water displays. Maybe some things to go along with beach bars. Palm trees, crabs, pool side lounge chairs...etc... I like the game, it just needs some more pizazz. Your food selection is terrific! But it might be nice to have a better way of measuring our progress on recipes. How many we need to master it...etc... Id recommend this game to a friend though. Nothing about it I don’t like, just room for improvement.
