Highway robbery at gunpoint! – Budge World - Kids Games 2-7 Review
Wow, really? You couldn’t make the app a one-time-purchase but instead, a subscription only model at $50+ a year for every year that I own it?
I was held at gunpoint by my daughter to get this game. I couldn’t even try it out unless I choose a subscription. I saw the price and said “no!” My daughter thought otherwise with crying and whining.
At 3 days in, she was bored with it and played her other free AND paid apps that didn’t require a high priced subscription.
Anyways, at day 5, I canceled it.
I will NEVER buy another bulge game as far as I know from this point on. It went from a kid friendly company to something totally unpleasant. Their bottom line was the bottom line.
If any parent decides to ask me what to get their kids, I know how to answer from now on.
Look at their other apps on the App Store. There are many purchased apps that require another $10-20 purchase after an update to continue use.
‘Come’on! It’s a kids game, not a financial burden!!!’
Greed killed this relationship.
