Convenience, yes. Performance, no. – Final Draft Mobile Review

I'm a Final Draft user since it was first released. It’s a great program. However, I’ve had a love/hate relationship with Final Draft Writer. I'm using an Air 2 / iOS 11.2.2 and I find FDW 3.02 to be sluggish and awkward in its performance. Just deleting text feels like a chore. FDW can't select text clearly and cleanly without repeated application and delay. It’s frustrating. I'm working on a script now using both my MacBook and iPad. Long story short, FDW is no joy. Prior versions seemed to perform better.
