Worked ok first use only – Smart Remote for Samsung TVs Review

The app connected to my tv after opening the app for the first time. The tv has to be turned on to use the remote app - I assume that is due to the tv not putting out a wireless network signal when powered off. The next time I tried using the app, the app would not connect. I found that I could get the app to connect only by opening the app letting try searching for the tv for a while, closing the app, and restarting the app. Periodically a screen would pop up in the app asking you to upgrade to the paid version of the app. The funny thing is the last time I selected to not purchase the app, the remote would no longer connect to the tv. If I thought the paid version would work I’d buy it, but some other reviewers have the said the paid version does not connect any better.
