Like it but it's missing something – The Creator - Mix Elements to Create New Items! Review

I like it and have fun testing out combinations and thinking about things alternatively but I also feel like the game is missing something. Perhaps a greater sense of progression or rewards or more complex combinations. Maybe a thing where placement matters? Or speed? Or amounts? It feels like it's still missing a piece.
