They will take your account away without legitimate reason – Adventure Quest 3D MMO RPG Review

I enjoyed the game, it is somewhat repetitive, but overall was enjoyable for me. After spending significant time to fully level my character and obtain good ‘endgame’ gear, I tried to log in one day and received the message that my account had been banned and was not allowed to log into the game. After having to email customer support to get a reason for the ban, and waiting a day to receive an answer, I learned I was banned b/c I was reported for an inappropriate name. I had not cheated, hacked, or displayed any inappropriate behavior in game, but b/c someone decided they didn’t like my name, I was instantly banned. For a name the game allowed me to have and one I played with for awhile without incident. Once I found out why I was banned, I agreed to change my name, no problem. Buuut I could not do this myself (as I was banned and unable to log in) so I had to send the developers 3 ‘appropriate’ names, and once they changed it at their leisure, I would be reinstated. I’ve now been banned for 3 days and it’s been close to 24 hours since I sent 3 new names and I’m still banned. This is a F2P game but I spent money (more than the cost of a new console video game) on it b/c I was enjoying it and wanted to support its development. It’s in beta from what I understand. Anyways, after this unprofessional treatment, I recommend spending your free time and especially any money you might spend on a game elsewhere, as these developers have no qualms about taking your account away for no legitimate reason, even as you yourself waste time attempting to cooperate with them. Good game, especially for mobile, but bad customer appreciation/support/service in my experience at least. And I thought Gameloft was bad!
