Bit off more than they could chew.

AQ3D in a nutshell: A long awaited and greatly anticipated game that sequels many of our favorite MMORPG-whether that be AQ, AQW or both. The only difference with this game and the previous two is that AE didn’t have a large project to work on prior to the creation of AQ, and once AQW was created the the developers stopped creating new content for AQ (other than the business-savvy, occasional update to generate a net profit from the RPG). Now that AQ3D has been created (and the story line of AQW officially come to an end), you would expect for the majority of AE’s resources to be spent on their new game. Especially considering the amount of money invested by kickstarters/backers. However, the AE team is unable to completely cut the umbilical cord that they have attached to AQW (due to the essential profit it generates for the further development of AQ3D), and this has led us to the title of this review; I mean the problem at hand. You’ve bitten off more than you can chew Artix and team. And because of that you continue to make hollow promises to your adventurers/customers until their last thread of loyalty snaps. I can’t help feeling that a similar analogy is fitting for the employees of Artix entertainment. With snark remarks coming from Cysero (our beloved master of lore!) about “not getting any bright ideas” when considered the dream of working for your favorite game developer of all time! If Jagex or Google made public announcements that they recently hired, but the rest of the ingrates who are better off only consuming their product should try to avoid “getting any bright ideas.” Either tensions at AE are high, or Cysero is a condescending jerk. For those of us who remain loyal, we do so out of love and nostalgia (and maybe a dash of delusion), but not if we are to be treated like this. I highly recommend that AE takes a realty check. You’re in a very tough situation, but doing two things adequately will never amount to doing one thing excellently. Even a thousand 0’s don’t add up to 1.

This game is great but I have some issues

First I love this game it’s like the 2d version but I think It needs more because has no music and it really bothers me and also some characters from the 2d game don’t look like them in this version it’s really weird could you fix and also I don’t think that the game has a lot to do because there’s more member activities them non members and when I really want this armor and it’s for members most armors or weapons you have to pay for so could you maybe add more non member things and this is my last thing could you maybe add more things like the 2d version

Excited to see the game. So far, the world and characters have plenty of personality, the animation is great, the graphics look nice, and the option to add braids to any hairstyle is brilliant (I'm a sucker for customization). Sound still needs some work, especially in cutscenes. Some small effects for the attacks and movement and maybe some conversational noises in place of actual voice acting. Without those things, the cutscenes and conversations are rather empty. As others have mentioned the arrow is not ideal. I'm used to that kind of navigation, personally, but visually it detracts too much from the focus of the game: your character. That tiny yellow arrow is tucked away in a corner. If I have to look at it, can it be near my character? Perhaps a circle with an arrow at my feet? I know everyone else does it that way, but there's a reason for it. Speaking of navigation, I have a suggestion: an autorun feature. It's small and probably not high on the to-do list, but would be much appreciated by this user :D Overall, my first impression is a good one. Love it so far and can't wait to see the finished product!

Miggz Xen (in game char) loves this game

This reminds me of the early days of Sony’s Everquest. In a couple of more years it should morph to those that loved EQ. You should get it and start today. Does it have some quirky issues yes, but it was no different than the beginning of EQ.

This game is awesome.

Ok, so idk what to write here, but I’ve tried about 5 different MMORPGs, and this one is by far the best. The graphics are good, but not so complicated as to make my device lag. Game runs smoothly (well, except for that time where my health got stuck at 3% and I couldn’t attack. That was weird). Attack mechanics are okay, but no worse than all the others. (Button spamming is fun, right?) Character creator is actually better than most, although I’d like if there was a facepaint/markings option that allowed for makeup, war paint, scars, etc. The plot is fairly good, and all the enemies are cool looking. Also, very good puns (I was cringing a lot, that’s how you know they're good). However, the chat box color NEEDS to be changed. I was in the Underworld and was frantically clicking everywhere because I couldn’t see the chat box at all. Annoying. Also, maybe attack combos, like when you use two abilities quickly and it does cool stuff? That would be nice. Anyhow, amazing game, not overly serious, very cool. My main complaint is how long it takes the updates to reach the AppStore. I’m actually writing this review while waiting for the update. P.S. is it just me or does there need to be a racetrack somewhere? UPDATE: A way to get free DC is needed ASAP.

Oh God

Best MMO but...

to make this game more entertaining and fun. Please make customized skills set so that we can use other skills like mixing 2 certain classes I would be more fun if the classes are self made class and the same time the players are the one to name them. Like the NPCs skills are customized skills set can we the players also have a customized skills set like we could have both skills from rogue and warrior. Also put a dash and dodge skill slot, also make a different types of mage class like fire type mage/attribute, thunder type mage/attribute, ice type mage/attribute. also make a customizable body, muscle, height, weight character creation. cause this game is really cool but it’s missing out a ton of things
