No battery registration for e65 e66 way overpriced – Carly — OBD2 car scanner Review

I have no time to go to the dealer to do a simple battery registration. So I decided to shop for a obd2 tool to do that one simple task. I read so many negative reviews that I decided to dig further before I purchase the adapter and download the pro-version. In the lite version you can see somewhat of the capabilities carly has. Since I'm looking to register a new battery to my e66. I click on the battery logo and long and behold a pop up window comes up. The pop up screen reads that this function is not supported because of how complex the charging system is on the e65. If it can't perform a simple battery registration then I don't think it's capable of anything other then turning things on or off that any cheap obd2 scanner would be able to do. Hidden features? I could hold down the trip counter and access hidden features with no scanner tool. Coding? Simple on and off most likely. I'm going to buy the foxwell NT510 for BMW. Cheaper and better and if you have multiple vehicles other then BMW it will support them as well all you would need to do is buy the software. No wifi needed and comes with lifetime of free software updates. Yes life time free updates, from the reviews I read about the carly in app purchases, it sounds like they will nickel and dime you for everything. Let's do some math, Carly wifi connector for iPhone is $80.00+ $50 for pro-version +in app purchase for whatever else. Say $10.00 more. That's already 140.00 without tax. No thanks, so then if I need something else I have to keep on paying. Nope, Do your research, if you agree with the me, simply type foxwell nt500 for bmw in your own review tittle. You're welcome
