Best privacy option BUT... – Signal - Private Messenger Review

There are a few small but important things that should’ve been no-brainers right from the start, and while I do think this is absolutely the best private secure messenger of its kind, I do not particularly enjoy using it because.... I almost never hear it. The default notification sound is subtle, and there is no way whatsoever to set your own tone. Fix that and I’ll fix my rating. Other things that would be nice: the ability to see when someone is typing a reply, large emoji without the text bubble backgrounds, fingerprint and/or passcode app locking and the ability to export media and conversations. Get all this in order and you’ll have a pretty well rounded user experience.
