Can’t delete my work to start a new one – Comic Strip - Comic Maker Review

I enjoyed the first few seconds of the app but when I wanted to start a new work it gives me 2 choices. When tapped neither choice deletes the current work, not event the X on the upper left hand corner. Is there another way to create new work without have to close the app and swipe it up?. I will change my rating once I get an answer from the developers and the problem solved. Thanks.
