Bye Bye Foscam – Foscam US Review

Like others, I bought Foscam devices when they were the only reasonably priced cameras with remote control and IR. They have never been very good. Janky firmware with doubly janky software. Anyone else infuriated by the IR filter "bounce"? Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick Tick...You'd think they'd have put a minor delay in for the filter/lens to adjust on a state change. So lame. But I digress. This app, along with support for US products is going the way of the dodo. They haven't even bothered to pull it now that it isn't supported by iOS 11. Lesson learned. If you see the FOSCAM logo: RUN AWAY.
