Why no update for Zuma? – Bejeweled Classic HD Review

I see a recent update for this PopCap app, why couldn't Zuma's users get a single update for the latest iOS? Instead the app was dropped from the App Store leaving us who purchased unable to play. I understand that since it lacks In-App purchases there is less profit, but come on ... I suspect it is a simple re-compile.
